Yellowstone and Tetons

America's Iconic National Parks in Fall Color

September 27 – October 4, 2023

Describing Yellowstone National Park will be filled with superlatives—the first National Park in the world, the highest concentration of thermal features, home to the largest Bison herd in the world, and (until recently) the largest national park in the continental US. Of course, it is also home to the most famous geyser in the world, Old Faithful.

The Teton Range is a spectacular mountain massif, and because of its proximity to Yellowstone, these two national parks are best visited on the same trip.

Fall is a magical time in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. The landscape is going through a transformation. Animals are out and about, getting ready for winter. On this workshop, you will have experienced guides who are intimately familiar with these parks.

We have put together an intense schedule to photograph these two iconic parks. We will travel thru the famed Lamar Valley, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Old Faithful, and Grand Teton National Park.

We will make images of some of the most inspiring vistas in North America and a high probability of photographing some of the many animals in the parks, bears, moose, bison, wolves, elk, pronghorn, pikas, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, and more! There will be plenty of instruction for photographing landscapes and wildlife. We’ll teach pre-visualization and composition, wildlife techniques, long exposures for dramatic skies or beautiful, smooth water, panorama stitching, and more.

Muench Workshops is an Authorized Permittee of the National Park Service.
